The New Jersey Office of the Governor is seeking interns for the Brian Stack Memorial Internship Program. Brian Stack was a Trenton State College alumnus who worked in the NJ Governor’s Office during the Kean Administration. Although he was a young man, he passed away suddenly, and his family began the Brian Stack Internship Fund.
These paid internships ($21 per hour in 2025) are awarded annually to TCNJ students (often junior or senior political science or international studies students). You can apply even if you have applied in earlier semesters and were not selected. The Brian Stack internship is a maximum of 20 hours per week, to be scheduled between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and students can make their own schedules. The internship is in the Governor’s Constituent Relations Office and includes duties such as utilizing constituent relations management software, assisting with the Governor’s reading file, and assisting with correspondence from the Governor.
