William R. Healey currently serves as the Special Advisor to the President at Alliance for Action. He has a long career in public affairs and trade association administration. He has collaborated often with the Alliance in his previous career on matters related to infrastructure, labor relations and public policy. Bill has served in executive management capacities at the NJ Chamber of Commerce and the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey. From 1994 to 1997, he was Director of the Office of Business Ombudsman in the administration of Governor Christine Todd Whitman. He is also a former director of philanthropy for Novo Nordisk US. Bill Healey is also an active volunteer and among his past posts, served on the Foundation for The College of New Jersey, as state chair of Community Health Charities and as a board member of the American Diabetes Association, NJ Community Leadership Board.

Since 2007, Bill has also been an adjunct professor at New York University and since 2013, at The College of New Jersey in Ewing. Bill Healey holds a B.A. degree from Seton Hall University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Fairleigh .Dickinson University.
