A Political Science Degree from TCNJ Opens Doors
Through its rigorous curriculum and guided by strong mentorship from diversely experienced faculty, our political science graduates are well prepared to succeed in a range of careers in law, public policy, government, business, and nonprofit organizations. Our graduates gain the practical skills, insights, and experience that make them highly attractive to prospective employers and top graduate programs.
The department helps connect Political Science students to internship and mentorship opportunities in nearby Trenton, Philadelphia, and New York City through our robust internship program, including a partnership with the NJ Governor’s Office. We also offer multiple mentorship programs, some with TCNJ alumni, to help students develop deep ties to the New Jersey public policy community and prepare for future career paths.
