Political Science Major & Political Science Major with a Prelaw Specialization
Complete the Change of Major form on the Records and Registration website if you are changing your major OR adding political science as a second major. To be accepted as a full political science major, students must have completed POL 110/ American Government, POL 130/International Relations, or POL 150/Comparative Politics with a grade of C of above. If students have not completed one of those courses, they will be admitted as a pre-political science major and changed to full major status after the course is completed satisfactorily.
Email the completed form with your signature to Susan Scibilia at scibilis@tcnj.edu or drop the paper form off in the Social Sciences Building Room 219. Dr. Chartock, Department Chair, will review and approve the form and then send it to Records and Registration for processing.

Law, Politics, and Philosophy Minor
Public Policy Minor
Complete the Minor form on the Records and Registration website to add a political science, prelaw, or public policy minor. Only one course taken toward a student’s major may be double counted toward a minor.
